Ride on July 3rd is scheduled tentatively for July 3rd. I know some people may be out of town for this date so if we don't get enough interest we'll cancel. If we ride, we'll ride a bit later so that we can catch the fireworks from an interesting vantage point (Beaucatcher Mountain (really a big hill), Helen's Bridge perhaps). Then we'll head on down to the ol' Bywater for refreshment and merry making (some of us will not have work the next day, things could get a little crazy, so plan transportation arrangements accordingly).
Saturday June 25th at Asheville Community Yoga Center there will be a special program: Yoga for Runners and Cyclists taught by the lovely Lindsay Fields. Suggested donation is $15-$20, but as always at ACYC no one is excluded based on financial situation so pay what you can, if you can. Following the program there will be a leisurely all levels ride leaving out from the yoga center and following the river. Remember to bring a lock and a helmet for your bike.
